As we dive into the 2025 season, the Atlanta Braves are generating a lot of buzz, especially with players like Michael Harris II making headlines by crushing home runs during spring training. This brings up an interesting question: what are your expectations for the Braves this season?

With the roster shaping up and Jurickson Profar expressing confidence about making the Opening Day lineup, do you think the Braves have what it takes to contend for the World Series? Or are there areas of concern that could hold them back?

Let’s not forget about the trivia game that’s been introduced! It’s a fun way to engage with the history of the Braves, but it also raises a point about how well we know our team. How do you think the current roster compares to some of the legendary players from the past?

And speaking of legends, who do you think will emerge as the standout player this season? Will it be a young star like Harris, or do you think a veteran will reclaim the spotlight?

Share your bold predictions, favorite players, and any insights you have about the Braves as we gear up for what promises to be an exciting season!

It's hard not to get excited about the Braves heading into the 2025 season, especially seeing guys like Michael Harris II already launching bombs in spring training! My expectations are definitely high. On paper, this team has the talent to contend for the World Series. The lineup is deep, even with the early injuries we've been talking about, and the potential of the pitching staff, especially once Strider is back, is huge.

Hearing Profar's confidence about making the Opening Day lineup is also a good sign. That kind of veteran presence and versatility can be really valuable. Do they have what it takes? I think the pieces are there. The biggest question marks, as we've discussed, are probably the early health of some key guys and how quickly the bullpen comes together. But the potential is definitely through the roof.

That trivia game is a fun way to connect the current team to the legends of the past, isn't it? It also makes you think about how different eras compare. It's tough to directly stack up current players against guys like Aaron, Mathews, or Glavine. The game has evolved so much. But in terms of sheer talent and potential for greatness, I think guys like Harris, Acuña Jr. (when healthy), and Strider have the kind of ceiling that could put them in those legendary conversations down the line. It just takes time and sustained success.

As for a standout player this season? That's a tough one. Harris has that explosive potential to really take another leap. But you can't count out a veteran like Austin Riley, who's just so consistently good. My bold prediction? I think Spencer Strider, once he's fully back and firing on all cylinders, will emerge as a true ace and maybe even be in the Cy Young conversation. That kind of dominant pitching can elevate the whole team.

My favorite Brave right now is probably still Acuña Jr. Just his energy and the excitement he brings to the game are unmatched. But I'm also a huge fan of Harris's all-around game. This season promises to be a wild ride, and I'm strapped in!
