Is anyone else noticing a trend toward shorter highlight reels? It seems like we are getting less and less actual game footage in these summaries. Is this a conscious decision by networks, or simply a reflection of faster paced games? Do shorter highlights impact our perception of the game, or is it enough to get the gist of the action? I personally feel like I am missing out on the nuances of the game, the strategic battles, and the overall flow. Are we sacrificing depth for brevity? I would love to hear what other baseball fans think. Also, bold prediction: the White Sox will surprise everyone this year and finish top three in their division. Discuss.
