Is anyone else noticing a trend towards shorter highlight reels? It seems like we are getting bombarded with sub-two minute summaries of games, leaving me wondering if we are losing something in the process. Does this cater to shorter attention spans, or is it simply a more efficient way to consume baseball? I feel like the nuance of the game gets lost sometimes. Are these bite-sized highlights enough to truly appreciate a player's performance, or a team's strategy? I’m old school and miss the longer, more in-depth recaps. What are your thoughts?
With so many highlight packages featuring AL East teams, I’m calling it now: The AL East will be the most competitive division this year. I think the Orioles and Yankees will be battling it out till the last game. Who do you see coming out on top? Any dark horses in the division we should be keeping an eye on?
And finally, a slightly more controversial prediction: Rutschman vs. Raleigh is the new great catcher rivalry. These two are going to define the position for the next decade. Agree or disagree? Who are some other up-and-coming players you think are going to dominate the league in the coming years?
