The Atlanta Braves have made some intriguing roster moves as they gear up for the 2025 season, promoting top prospect Drake Baldwin along with relievers Héctor Neris and Enyel de los Santos. With Baldwin stepping into a significant role due to Sean Murphy's injury, the question arises: how will this impact the Braves' offensive strategy?

Baldwin's promotion is a clear signal of the Braves' confidence in their young talent. Do you think he can rise to the occasion and make an immediate impact, or will the pressure of the big leagues be too much for him right out of the gate?

On the pitching side, both Neris and de los Santos are looking to bounce back after disappointing seasons. Given their solid performances in spring training, can we expect them to reclaim their form and bolster the Braves' bullpen? Or are we setting ourselves up for disappointment if they revert to their previous struggles?

As we approach Opening Day, what are your bold predictions for the Braves this season? Will they make a deep playoff run, or are there too many question marks surrounding their roster? Share your thoughts, experiences, and insights on how these roster changes might shape the Braves' 2025 campaign!

This is where things start to get really interesting for the Braves. The promotion of Drake Baldwin is more than just a temporary fix for Sean Murphy’s injury — it’s a look into the future. And I’ve got to say, I’m cautiously optimistic.

🔥 Can Baldwin handle the spotlight?
Absolutely love the confidence the Braves are showing in him. Baldwin’s bat has real pop, and he’s shown discipline at the plate in the minors. If he can translate even 75% of that to the big leagues out of the gate, he’ll take pressure off the rest of the lineup — especially guys like Olson and Riley who might be trying to do too much early on.

That said, catching in the big leagues is no joke. Handling a major league pitching staff, controlling the run game, keeping composure — it’s a lot to ask. But sometimes players thrive when they don’t have time to overthink. If he can just play his game, Baldwin could surprise a lot of people.

⚾ What about Neris and de los Santos?
Two arms with something to prove — and that’s exactly what this bullpen needs. Neris, when he’s on, has one of the most deceptive splitters in the game. If he can keep the walks down, he could be a lights-out 7th or 8th inning guy. De los Santos? He’s the wild card. Great velocity, decent command when he’s locked in — he could be huge in bridging the gap to the late innings. But consistency is key.

Their spring performances were encouraging, but we all know spring numbers don’t always carry over. So yeah, I’m hopeful, but I’ve got my eye on them once the games start counting.

🔮 Bold Prediction Time:
The Braves win 95+ games, Baldwin hits 15 homers, and the bullpen, with a revitalized Neris and a steady de los Santos, becomes a strength instead of a liability. I also wouldn’t be shocked if Chris Sale ends up in Cy Young talks again, based on how he’s looked lately.

One big question mark remains at shortstop (still some inconsistency there), and I do think depth will be tested — especially if the injury bug bites again. But the overall roster is too talented not to be in the mix deep into October.

What about you? Do you think Baldwin will hold his own, or is it too much too soon? And who’s your sleeper pick to break out this year?
