The Athletics 2028 projected lineup is out and it has me wondering…is this a playoff team? Shea Langeliers, Nick Kurtz, Zack Gelof, a rejuvenated Max Muncy…this lineup has potential, but is it enough to compete in what is sure to be a tough AL West? I’m particularly interested in Kurtz’s development. Is he truly a cornerstone player? Also, Jacob Wilson getting the nod at shortstop over Gelof is a bold choice. What do you all think about this infield configuration? Pitching-wise, Jack Perkins as the ace is intriguing. Does he have the stuff to be a true number one? And can Mason Miller finally put it all together and become a dominant closer? The A’s have some exciting young talent, but there are still a lot of question marks. Let’s hear your hot takes.
