The Rangers seem to be playing a confusing game this offseason. They're reportedly trying to duck the luxury tax, yet threw a hefty bag at Eovaldi and chased Fried with a monster offer. Now, they’re looking for a lefty bat and bullpen help, but their current roster and payroll situation seem at odds with those goals.

Joc Pederson's name is floating around, which raises some eyebrows. Sure, he mashes righties, but he's essentially a DH-only player. With Burger already occupying that spot, how does this fit? Are they considering a platoon, or is someone getting traded? What about Nathaniel Lowe? Trading him frees up payroll, but further depletes their lefty options. Is this a sign of a larger shakeup, or just Grant connecting dots that aren’t there?

Speaking of confusing, why pursue Fried when Burnes might be a slightly more expensive but significantly better option? Did they miss the boat on Burnes, or is there a specific strategy at play?

And then there’s the bullpen. They need multiple arms, but are seemingly hesitant to spend big. Are they betting on bounce-back candidates or hoping to unearth hidden gems? Can they realistically address their needs without dipping further into their pockets?

What are your thoughts, Fast Ballers? Is Texas’ front office playing 4D chess, or are they simply scrambling? Let's hear your bold predictions and roster constructions for the Rangers. What moves do you think they SHOULD be making?
