AL East Hot Stove: O'Neill to Orioles, Red Sox Eye Soto, Grichuk's Market Heats Up

Is anyone else surprised the Red Sox weren’t more aggressive in pursuing Tyler O’Neill? Given their interest in a big swing like Juan Soto, does this signal a shift in their overall strategy? Are they all in on Soto or is this a misstep letting a solid player like O’Neill go?

The Orioles signing O’Neill AND Gary Sanchez feels like a significant power move. Are they dark horse contenders in the AL East now? How will this impact their payroll flexibility moving forward? Could this aggressive approach backfire?

With the Rays stadium situation still uncertain, is it time for them to seriously consider relocation? Montreal has been mentioned, but are there other potential landing spots? Could this ongoing saga actually benefit them in negotiations?

The Yankees and Mets both bidding over 700 million for Soto…is this insanity? At what point does the price tag outweigh the potential return? Is Soto truly a generational talent worth shattering the bank for, or are we witnessing an unprecedented bidding war fueled by desperation? I predict this sets a dangerous precedent for future contracts.
