Is anyone else noticing a distinct lack of offense across the league this season? These highlight reels are getting shorter and shorter, filled with mostly pitching duels and the occasional solo shot. Are we entering a new dead ball era, or are pitchers just that much better? I’m starting to think small ball and strategic base running might become the dominant strategies again. What do you all think – is this a blip, or a trend? And if it’s a trend, which teams are best positioned to capitalize on it? I predict we'll see a resurgence of teams like the Guardians, built on pitching and defense, making deep playoff runs. Let me know your thoughts and hot takes.
